The eight-chapter program is an interactive, web-based class that uses videos, personal birth stories, animations, activities, and games to teach all the essential information parents need to know to prepare for their birth.

Consider the Understanding Breastfeeding eClass your go-to guide for answers. This interactive online course covers the essentials, including clear animation and plenty of video examples. It lets you know when to call for help and includes partner tips throughout. You will also have the opportunity to track feedings with an easy-to-use tracker!

You can access the eClass from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. Allow 2-3 hours to complete.

This convenient, informative, and entertaining eClass was created for men (by men) to help them find their way on this unique journey. With a positive focus on the importance of being involved right from the start, you’ll learn how to support your partner through pregnancy and birth, as well as survival tips for those first few sleep-deprived months with a newborn. Integrated throughout the class are fun activities and video clips that share the relatable stories of real dads and advice from a fatherhood expert.

Consider the Understanding Postpartum Health & Baby Care eClass your go-to guide for caring for yourself and your new baby over the first few days and weeks. This interactive online course covers essential information about caring for your newborn, feeding your baby, and taking care of yourself after childbirth. It also highlights important warning signs so you know when to call for help. Parenthood is a journey. Understanding Postpartum Health & Baby Care was created to prepare you for this adventure.

Complimentary tours are available for current patients or those considering our facility for delivery.

Please register in advance for the tour. 

Note: Only register one person. You may bring 1 support person.

Tour will begin at 5:30 pm in the first-floor conference room. It typically continues until 6:45, ending with a time for questions and answers.

Please meet in the Lakeside front entrance waiting area for tours to begin. Tours typically last 30 to 45 minutes and may occasionally be canceled if the facility is full.

Tours are available free of charge for current or prospective patients. Please register for the tour.

Tours are offered at 3:30 p.m. following the Saturday Understanding Birth class and during the week before other prenatal classes. You do not need to participate in a class to take the tour but you do need to register.

Tours are also given as part of the Understanding Childbirth Class. You do not need to register for a tour separately if you are taking this class at Integris Edmond and delivering at Integris Edmond. 

Tours meet on the 4th floor Women's Center in the waiting room and start promptly. 

Tours typically last 30-45 minutes and may occasionally be canceled if the unit is full.

Please register only one person in your party. Do not register for this tour if you are taking an Understanding Childbirth Class.

STOP the Bleed is a national awareness campaign created by the American College of Surgeons to train, equip and empower ordinary people to intervene and stop life-threatening bleeding before before professional help arrives.

Nurses, paramedics, EMTs, physicians or advanced practice providers can become a course instructor by attending oned class and regitering online with the ACS.

This class will take place on one evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. 

Class participants will learn about common newborn traits and behaviors, as well as newborn health and safety, including Lifesaver, safe sleep and Newborn procedures.  There will be discussion on ways to comfort your newborn with hands-on practice with swaddling, burping and diaper changing. Grandparents are encouraged to sign up as well.

Please feel free to bring a drink & snack or stop by the cafeteria prior to class or during a break.
