This class is created around Penny Simkin's Comfort Measures DVD and book The Birth Partner. It will be interactive for both mom and support people. This class does not include information about medical intervention or the process of labor itself, that is covered in the Understand Birth class. This class focuses on natural coping methods.
Topics include: breathing, relaxation, visualization, guided imagery, massage, counter pressure, positions for labor and pushing.
